Il materiale utilizzato per i nuovi dischi freno CX è completamente in acciaio inossidabile, trattato termicamente con un effetto di attrito superiore.
Con il miglioramento dell’effetto di attrito, la potenza di frenata aumenta ancora di più.

Il design fornisce un aspetto eccellente per vari modelli di motocross. Le cosiddette \\tacche a V\\ nel profilo del disco del freno hanno lo scopo di autopulire il disco del freno.
L’obiettivo è anche quello di risparmiare peso. Meno fori ci sono, migliori sono le prestazioni di frenata sul bagnato e minore è l’usura del disco del freno.
